The Woman’s Library Club of Glencoe is sponsoring a summer garden walk on from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. June 22 in Glencoe. Six wonderful gardens will be featured, all on the same secluded street, with spectacular views of both the ravines and the lake.

The walk will also feature a raffle, a silent auction and a unique boutique featuring local vendors. A highlight of the event will be the $13,000 worth of classically designed limestone garden ornaments donated for the event by Longshadow of Pomona, Ill. that will be available for auction and sale.

The cost of the event is $45 in advance which includes a box lunch; $50 after June 19 or at the door. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will not include lunch. To receive an invitation, e-mail Ellie Pagano at ellie
pagano@comcast.net or call (847) 835-4665.

Admission tickets and map should be picked up the day of the garden walk from 9:45 a.m.-2 p.m. The check-in booth will be located at North Shore Congregation Israel at 1185 North Sheridan Road, Glencoe. Parking is available in the NCSI parking lot. People will be shuttled a short distance to the street where the gardens are located.

All proceeds from “Glencoe In Bloom” will benefit The Woman’s Library Club’s philanthropic efforts.
