Architect buys Winnetka home

WINNETKA — Ross Wimer purchased a home at 720 Humboldt Avenue in Winnetka from Steven Ryan and Ann Ryan on July 20. The 112-year-old, seven-bedroom, five-full-three-half-bath, 8,069 square-foot home sold for $2.2 million.
Ross Wimer is a partner at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP. He was educated at the Harvard University School of Design.
