The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Winnetka, Northfield and Wilmette police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Winnetka

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Between Aug. 30 and Sept. 4 someone used an unknown object to damage the window of a building at 511 Lincoln Ave. Repair costs were estimated at $420.

DRUG ARRESTS

Michael P. Polinski, 24, of 1766 Wood Lane., Mt. Prospect, was cited for possession of marijuana after an investigation into a report of an odor of cannabis led police to a condominium unit at 1095 Merrill Street.

FRAUD

Between Aug. 1 and Sept. 9 someone removed five checks from the office of a tenant at 620 Lincoln Ave. The checks were subsequently forged and cashed for a total amount of $6,642.

THEFT

Between Aug. 8 and Sept. 8, someone stole two bicycles and an air pump from the apartment storage room located in the basement of a building on the 1000 block of Gage Street. The amount of loss was estimated at $1,130.

Northfield

ALCOHOL

Ronald J. Grason, 41, of 458 Lakeside Ter., Glencoe, was stopped at 1:51 a.m. Sept. 9 in the 1300 block of Willow Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Grason was given a court date of Sept. 27.

BURGLARY

Between 8:55 p.m. Sept. 6 and 10:40 a.m. Sept. 7 someone entered a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Lockwood Avenue and stole an iPhone car charger worth $10.

MOVING VIOLATIONS

Lukasz L. Kaczmarski, 29, of 1479 Wedgewood Ave., Des Plaines, was stopped at 8:58 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 1600 block of Willow Road and charged with felony driving while license revoked. The stop was Kaczmarski’s third traffic stop on a revoked license in the past two years.

THEFT

At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4, an iPad was reported stolen after a customer left it in an unattended shopping cart in the parking lot at Dominick’s, 1822 Willow Road.

WILMETTE

DRUGS

Police issued three local ordinance tickets for use and possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol to three juveniles whom they stopped for questioning Sept. 3 on the 300 block of Ridge Road. The three were turned over to their parents, police said.

BURGLARY

A resident of the 1300 block of Maple Avenue told police Sept. 3 that someone entered her unlocked vehicle, searched it and took about $2 in coins from the console.~.
