On Nov. 10, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) presented Kent P. Dauten with the Amicus Certus (“True Friend”) Award at the 31st Annual Amicus Certus Celebration. The Amicus Certus Celebration — entitled “The Heart of LSSI” — was hosted by The Women’s Network of LSSI and was held at the Union League Club in Chicago. The event raised more than $100,000, which will be used to provide services for people served by LSSI throughout the state. For more information, see lssi.org
