The 17th annual Myra Rubenstein Weis Health Resource Center Luncheon/Fundraiser: “Harmonious Healing”, May 1, Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Ave West, Highland Park, complimentary valet parking. Silent Auction begins at 10:30 a.m.; lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. This year’s event will honor NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) doctor, Janardan D. Khandekar, MD, Director, Center for Molecular Medicine, for the impact he has made in the field of oncology. Guests will also hear from Brent Bauer, MD, FACP, Director, Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic, about the emergence of integrative medicine, which combines conventional medicine with the best of evidence-based complementary therapies. The Evanston Art Center 26th annual Spring Benefit “Party at the Clarke”: Exhibition dates through May 18, Gala Party and Live Auction, 6:30-11 p.m. May 18, 2603 Sheridan Road, Evanston, Art Auction and party will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner.
